Material
Two kilos of boiled potatoes
teaspoon of salt
half teaspoon cumin seeds
one tablespoon crushed red chilli powder
Refined Oil
Method of making Potato Papad
-First of all, peel the boiled potatoes and keep them in a big vessel. Now grate them well. When all the potatoes are grated, add salt, chili and cumin seeds to it and mix well. Mash it well for 5 to 10 minutes.
-Now put 2 to 3 spoons of refined oil in a bowl and apply it well on your palm. Now break a lemon sized ball in your hand and make it round. Now keep placing these balls one by one in a plate.
-Now we will make papads from these balls. For this, spread a big polythene on the dining table. Now apply some oil on your hand and take a ball and apply oil on the ball as well and place it on the polythene. Now press it with your hand and spread it in a round shape. Now take another polythene and place it on the ball. Now place a plate on it and make thin papads by applying medium pressure. The thinner the papads, the tastier they will be. In this way, spread all the balls on the polythene and keep making papads from them.

-Now pick up all the papads kept on the polythene along with the polythene and spread them on a table or floor outside in the sun. Cover them with a thin cotton saree. This way they will dry and be ready in 3 to 4 hours. Turn them over and keep them in the sun for drying for 2 more hours. Your potato papads are ready.
